FamPrio-Connect

Several households. One family circle.

These days a family rarely lives under one roof. In FamPrio several households belong to one family circle — without mixing them up.

A household is a family under one roof: one home, one daily routine. The family circle is the bracket around them — it carries the subscription, and every household inside it is included. Every household has its own calendar: whatever you enter there stays in the household.

Your family circle
  • Grandma and Grandad

Their own home, their own routine.

  • Your daughter and her children

Its own household calendar, its own dates.

  • Your brother and his family

Its own household, its own calendar.

Sketch: three separate households that together form one family circle.

Who FamPrio-Connect is built for

Four situations in which a single household is not enough.

Grandparents who want to be part of it

Grandma and Grandad live elsewhere and still belong to everyday life. They see the dates you release to them — the children's birthday party, Tuesday's pick-up.

Parents who live apart

Two homes, two routines, the same children. Each household has its own calendar and shares exactly the dates that concern them both: who picks up when, and when the doctor's appointment is.

Grown-up siblings

Every family runs its own household. For the family party, the holiday or caring for your parents, one release is enough — nobody has to move in together.

Blended families

New partners, step-siblings, children commuting between two homes. If you want to keep a date to yourself, put it in your own calendar — nobody else sees it there.

What you can do together

For a date, a task or a receipt you decide yourself who may see it — entry by entry.

  • Share a single appointment: it goes to the family circle or to selected people — the rest of your calendar stays where it is.
  • Create shared calendars: one for the family party, one for caring for your parents. When you invite someone, you decide per person whether they see title and details — or only that the slot is taken.
  • Keep birthdays in view: FamPrio reminds you days in advance, without anyone having to maintain a list. Here too, each entry says who may see it.
  • Hand out tasks and take a vote: who brings what, who picks up whom — and a poll while the date is still open.

What is explicitly not shared

A shared circle does not mean everyone sees everything. For many entries there are two questions: who may see it, and who may change it? No tick means no right.

  • Your budget. Every entry carries its own visibility — the whole circle, selected people, or only you. Only the person who created it, or someone explicitly ticked, may delete it.
  • Personal documents. Contracts, school reports and doctor’s letters start out on “only me” — they become visible only once you release them.
  • Conversations. A chat goes to the people inside it — one to one, a group, or the chat about a single appointment. Whoever is not in it does not read along.
  • Locations. A location is only shared if the person agrees themselves and their device confirms it — for an hour, until a set time, or permanently. It can be revoked at any moment.

For most entries the visibility sits right there in the form. For dates the calendar sets it — your own one stays with you, the household calendar stays with the household. Elsewhere the family circle is preselected; one tap turns it into “only selected people” or “only me”. Documents start out on “only me”.

How to bring another household in

Three steps in the settings — and only one subscription for everyone.

  1. 1

    Create the household

In the settings under “Households”, tap “Create a new household”: name, symbol, colour — done. This is done by the person who manages the family.

  2. 2

    Invite the people

Under “Family members” you invite the person by email; the link is valid for 14 days. Five of you are in it together for free, twenty with FamPrio Plus. For small children without a device of their own there is a “Profile without login” — free of charge, and it does not use up one of your places.

  3. 3

    Assign the household

For each person you pick their household and tap “Apply”. From then on they have their household calendar — and whatever is in it stays in the household.

There is no limit on how many households you create — people are counted, not households. If someone moves, you simply change their assignment.

Why you can let several households in

The more people could read along, the more important the question of who really may.

Servers in the EU

Your data is stored on servers in the EU; the family data in Frankfurt am Main.

GDPR from day one

Access, export and deletion are built in, not added later. Every person can see at any time what is stored about them.

The data belongs to the family

No reselling, no advertising profiles, no analysis of your daily life. You pay for the product — which is why you are not the product.

What FamPrio-Connect costs

Nothing on top. FamPrio-Connect is part of FamPrio Plus: €4.99 per month or €44.99 per year.

One subscription for the whole family circle — every household inside it is included. One person pays, up to 20 people use everything. No surcharge per household, no bill per person.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a household and a family circle?

A household is a family under one roof: one home, one daily routine. The family circle is the bracket around them. It carries the subscription and the places — the calendars of the households inside it stay separate.

Does everyone then see everything?

No. For many entries you decide yourself who may see them: the whole family circle, selected people, or only you. For dates it is set by the calendar you write into — and there you also get the level “My household”. In the other areas it is still to come; personal documents start out on “only me” anyway.

Who may create a household?

The person who manages the family and pays for the subscription. They create households, invite people and assign them. Parents and guardians can see the list but cannot change it.

Bring the whole family along

Start with your own household — for five of you that is free. When more people belong to it, or when you want to connect with another family, FamPrio Plus comes in.
