Who pays for the subscription?
The family plan is paid for by exactly one person – the family owner. Invited members are part of this family plan and pay nothing extra. If a member wants to open their own independent family plan, a separate subscription is required.
Is my data stored in the EU? Even on the free plan?
Yes, the product data is stored in Frankfurt am Main. We don't sell family data and we don't build advertising profiles. On the free plan we show at most discreet references to our own Plus features – no third-party advertising. Plus is completely ad-free. For essential service providers such as hosting, email, error diagnostics and payments, we use data processing agreements.
How does the trial period work?
You can try FamPrio free of charge and in full for 30 days. After that, Plus automatically continues as a paid subscription unless you cancel beforehand. You will get reminders by email and in the app before the trial ends, so there are no surprises. You can cancel anytime with one click – your account then switches to the Free plan at the end of the trial.
Can I be in multiple family plans?
Yes – you can be a member of multiple families without paying extra, as long as you are invited. However, opening your own separate family plan requires its own subscription.
Where is my data stored?
Exclusively in the EU – specifically on servers in Frankfurt am Main. We sign data processing agreements with all service providers. Your data is never sold or used for personal tracking. On the Free plan we show at most discreet references to our own Plus features – no third-party advertising, no advertising partners. Plus is completely ad-free.
Can my child use the app?
Yes. With child accounts, you as a parent decide exactly what your child is allowed to see, write, and share.
What is the community and who can join?
The community is a protected space for adults aged 18 and over. Children and teenagers are technically excluded. The community is there for exchanging thoughts on family life, parenting, joint outings, interest groups, and mutual support.
Is there an app?
FamPrio is currently available as a web app and is fully optimised for mobile. Native apps for iPhone and Android are in development and coming soon.
