Pantry – do you know what you have at home?

See at a glance what you have – and don't buy anything twice.

Standing in the supermarket and can't remember if there's still pasta in the cupboard? The pantry is a shared list of everything you have at home. It fills up with your shopping, you take things off with one tap when they're used up, and the meal planner suggests recipes that fit what you have. The pantry is part of FamPrio Plus.

Everyday situations every family knows

Three everyday situations where FamPrio helps right away.

1

In the shop: do we still have pasta?

You're standing at the shelf, not sure. A look at the pantry tells you before something lands in the trolley a second time.

2

After shopping

With “Finish shopping” you move what you ticked off in the last 24 hours into the pantry. It's preselected, and you untick what shouldn't go in. What's already in the pantry isn't added twice.

3

In the evening: what do we cook from this?

In the meal planner you see recipes from your recipe box where at least half the ingredients are already in the pantry – and what you're still missing. That turns what's there into dinner.

What you get

  • One shared list for the whole family: a name and, if you like, an amount – sorted A to Z.
  • “Finish shopping” moves what was ticked off in the last 24 hours into the pantry – nothing is added twice.
  • “Used up”: one tap and the item is taken off again.
  • In the meal planner: recipe ideas that fit your pantry – with what's still missing.
  • Once the pantry is in use: what you tick off on the shopping list goes in by itself, if it's clearly a food item.

Common questions

  • Is the pantry part of FamPrio Plus?

Yes. The pantry is a Plus feature, just like the meal planner. One Plus covers the whole household. The shopping list can still be used without Plus. What Plus costs is on the pricing page.

  • What happens to the pantry if we no longer have Plus?

All entries are kept; nothing is deleted or hidden. Without Plus you can't view or change the pantry. As soon as Plus is back, everything is there again.

  • Can children see the pantry?

That's up to the parents. The pantry is a permission of its own among the children's permissions. Without that permission, the area stays closed for the child.

One Plus covers the whole household. Without Plus, the pantry shows a short introduction instead of the list; your entries are kept. What Plus costs and what it includes is on the pricing page.
