Click “Create family account” in the top right, or go straight to /signup. All you need is your first name, email, and password. Then you give your family a name and can get going right away — the first 30 days of Premium are free.

Go to Settings → Members & Invitations and click “Invite person”. Enter an email address — the person receives an invitation link, which you can also share by message. Up to 20 members are included in the Premium plan.

We recommend the order from the setup wizard (you’ll find it in Settings): invite your first family member, add your home location, create your first photo album, save your most important contact (pediatrician), add the first birthday. That brings the app to life in 10 minutes.

Yes, FamPrio runs entirely in the browser — laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Native apps for iPhone and Android are in the works. Until then, you can add the web version to your home screen and it will feel just like an app.

Up to 20 on the Premium plan. Up to 4 on the Free plan. Grandparents, au pair, godfather — everyone can join, and for each role you decide yourself what they’re allowed to do.

Yes. You can be a member of as many families as you like without paying extra. At the top of the sidebar you switch between your families with one click. Starting your own separate family plan requires its own subscription.

Under Settings → Children’s permissions you decide per module what your child may see, read, write, and delete. The default for children under 13: everything disabled except the calendar and birthdays. The adult community is technically 18+ — children are excluded by the system.

Their account remains — they can start a new family themselves or be invited again at any time. Content they created (photos, notes, events) stays visible in your family (with their name unlinked if they later delete their account completely).

Settings → Members. Click “Hand over main role” next to the person you want. You keep full access afterwards, but the subscription and deletion rights transfer to them.

All servers are located in Frankfurt am Main — so your data and files stay in Germany. They don’t leave the EU without the legally required data protection agreements.

By default, only you — with every upload, you decide yourself whether the whole family, only selected people, or no one but you can see it. Location sharing is always voluntary: only if the person concerned actively agrees on their own device.

On the Free plan, yes — contextual ads from an EU advertising partner, with no profiling, no tracking, no cookies. On the Premium plan, no ads. Details in the privacy policy, section 2.

Yes — Settings → My data → “Export data”. You get a JSON file with everything (GDPR Art. 20). No 24-hour wait, no email request needed — direct download.

Settings → My data → “Delete account”. Confirm by typing the word “DELETE”. We wait 30 days — during that time you can undo the process at any point if it was a mistake. The family’s main person must hand over their role to someone else first.

€3.99 per month or €35.00 per year (≈ 27% savings). One person pays — all family members are included for free. Try it free for 30 days, after that Premium continues automatically (cancel anytime).

You can try FamPrio in full for 30 days. After that, Premium continues as a paid plan unless you cancel beforehand. You’ll get reminders by email and in the app before it ends, so there are no surprises.

Settings → Subscription & Invoices → “Cancel subscription”. Your access remains until the end of the billing period, then you automatically switch to the Free plan.

Nothing gets deleted. Your content stays — pictures, documents, lists, and calendars. If your storage is above the Free limit of 500 MB, new uploads are limited until you tidy up or upgrade again. Tip: do a ZIP export once before switching.

Yes, anytime. Click the “Premium” button in the sidebar or go to Settings → Subscription. You instantly get full access to all modules again.

Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay — processed via Stripe (a GDPR-compliant EU provider). You can find your invoices anytime under Settings → Subscription.

Go to the forgot-password page and enter your email address. You’ll receive a reset link at the email on file.

Check: is the file smaller than 50 MB? Is the format JPG, PNG, HEIC, or WebP? Is your internet connection stable? If the error persists — write to info@famprio.com with a screenshot of the error message.

Check your spam folder. If they’re there: allow info@famprio.com as a sender. Otherwise: check under Settings → Notifications whether email reminders are enabled.

A wall-tablet mode for FamPrio. You set a PIN under Settings → 🏠 HomeHub PIN & mode, activate the mode, and the device shows only a beautiful family overview (events, tasks, birthdays, photo). No one can change the app’s content without entering the PIN. Perfect for an old tablet in the living room.
