We build FamPrio the way we'd want a family app to be built for us.
Your data stays in Germany
Your main data is stored in a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany. For specific services we work with European and international partners (see our privacy policy). You decide about optional features like location sharing.
Password security like banking
Email and password. We never store your password in plain text — only as a secure hash — so even we can’t read or reset it. The session ends on its own after one hour of inactivity.
Encrypted in transit
When the app sends data to your phone or computer, it's encrypted — like a sealed envelope. No one between you and us can read along.
Location: you decide, always
No one sees your location unless you agree to it yourself, on your own device — not even the family owner. The same applies to your children’s locations. One tap and it’s off again.
Hate and insults get filtered
In the family chat and adults-only community, FamPrio automatically detects insults, hate speech and content unsuitable for minors. Such messages are masked with asterisks. Repeated violations result in a ban.
Your data belongs to you
Under "My data" there's an export button — you instantly get a file with everything you've saved in FamPrio (GDPR Art. 20). Want to know who changed what and when — for example, who shared a location? A quick email to info@famprio.com is all it takes.
Delete your account — 30 days to reconsider
If you want to delete your account, you confirm it with one click (GDPR Art. 17). Deletion doesn’t happen right away — we wait 30 days in case it was a mistake. If you’re the family owner, the role must be transferred to another person first, so the family isn’t left without anyone in charge.
Who we work with
Hosting, email delivery, payments — we only work with providers who have signed a data-protection agreement with us. The full list is in our privacy policy.
A backup for emergencies
If you accidentally delete something important, or a technical problem causes data loss: we can roll back to any state from the last 7 days.
